Bad news guys.

The caretakers/ residence-leaders/ whoever-they-are-but-from-now-on-known-as-twats have forbidden Matteo to have another party in his kitchen. Apparently, someone didn't like loud music... Do I smell a rat?

Nevertheless, the Finnish/Dutch kitchen will be open for celebration on Saturday whether or not we get a permission.

Now, as a request for you dear party-attendees: would you look up the definition of a "party" from whatever source you can and bring it along with you on the night in question. All definitions are welcome. The more verbose, the better!

And when you do come here on Saturday, the geekiest of you might think of yourselves as starwarsian Rebels fighting the evil Empire. Don't be shy about it but voice it loudly as it's more than applicable here as well.

Due to resons out of their control, Field Marshal Matteo and Major Manuel will not be demoted but will retain their respective ranks as they have done more to us Erasmusees this year than anyone else!

Saturday 3rd of May will see the biggest party this semester has witnessed. On the Ground Floor of Lancashire Halls of Residence the Italian Kitchen and the Finnish/Dutch Kitchen will be all set for your enjoyment.

Starting at 21.00, all are welcome to enjoy this post-teaching-pre-exam-bonanza concocted by yours truly.

For those who can drink it, there will be some ASDA beer available, but don't let that stop you - bring as much to drink as you can carry! There will also be a bartender mixing drinks, so if you have a request, let us know, bring the ingredients, and enjoy the service.

Now get your arms out and tattoo the date on it, for this is an occasion you will not want to miss!

On tuesday 22nd April at 6.00pm the whole of Wolverhampton needs to go shopping at Asda. We all go there anyway so we might as well all go together for a laugh wearing black clothes and purchasing one random item.
There will be a secret code to show you belong to this group. This will be a rub of the right ear lobe - followed by a chin rub if your are in any doubt.

It would be hilarious to see the whole of Wolverhampton inside the Asda store, imagine christmas shopping in there and then multiply it by 10, and then 10 again because they wouldn't be prepared for it.

Backstreet Boys in Concert

This may sound crazy but I think you should all consider this.
I'm sure most of you must have at least one of their albums (but you're afraid to admit it) and now there is the possibility to see them live! Let's sing a long to the songs we once knew by heart and pretend we're 16 all over again!

The concert is on May 8th in NIA in Birmingham. Doors open at 18:30. Tickets are between 25-30 pounds. It could be a fun way to end the semester.

Spoon concert in London, anyone?

Anyone interested in joining me to see Spoon in concert?

The concert is in London at Scala on Monday 25th February, and ticket prices are £15.25 including fees plus a £4.80 transaction fee for the entire ticket order. The bus takes about 3.5 hours to get to London, so I was thinking it would be a good idea to spend the day in London to make the trip worthwhile. A round trip ticket is £14... not bad! I will look into public transportation around London, but that should not be too expensive.

Doors open at 7:30, so we'll have time to do other things around London, if there are any ideas!

This is the newest fiat 500 italian commercial...the car is not very important!
The real mean of this commercial lies in the text, in the mucic and in the pictures.
For some of you some pictures mean nothing but for me and (i hope) for many italian people mean a lot of things...perhaps the essence of being italian. I tried to translate the text, i hope you will uderstand it and maybe appreciate. It could be the essence of human being

Day trip to Shrewsbury

We suggest you to come with us next saturday (the 9th) to Shrewsbury. It takes just seconds to fall in love with the spaghetti-ball tangle of medieval streets in the heart of shropshire's most picturesque town.
We are going to go there by train (£7). Meeting at 9h15 in front of the Argyll House. There are few visits on place (abbey £2, cottages, castle £2,5...and walking across the lovely medieval streets).

The Canadian rock group Tegan and Sara are coming to Wulfrun Hall on Monday, February 25th at 7pm. Tickets are 8 pounds each. I would have posted this closer to the date, but I don't know how quickly tickets sell out here.
